Best Xbox RPG Title of 2002

Good RPGs were hard to find in 2002, but two of them managed to stand out as excellent additions to the genre.  And the winner is...

TIE: The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind & Shenmue II

"Elder Scrolls III is pure addictive RPG goodness. I love total openness and complete control over character and class creation." (Nick Arvites, XGF Staff)

"While it was nice to see a totally PC RPG on a console, Shenmue II has a certain something that no other Xbox RPG can match. Is it that strange blend of "point and click" adventure, RPG, and beat-um-up? Is it all the addictive mini-games? Is it the fact that it feels so much like the 80s kung-fu/action movies it tries to recreate? Who knows? All I know is that no other RPG on the Xbox grabbed me like this one." (J. Michael Neal, PSGF Staff)
