Island Thunder Goes Gold

Ubi Soft has announced that Ghost Recon: Island Thunder has gone gold. Ghost Recon: Island Thunder is the stand-alone expansion to Ghost Recon. Ghost Recon: Island Thunder puts players in control of an elite group of soldiers sent into Cuba. This campaign is stretched across eight single player missions.

Perhaps the most anticipated thing about this title is the addition of another Xbox Live game. The original Ghost Recon is very popular over Xbox Live, and Ghost Recon: Island Thunder seeks to improve on this proven model by adding new maps and skill tracking.

Ghost Recon: Island Thunder is expected to ship August 5^th.
