Alias Ships Acclaim announced today that Alias has shipped for PS2 and Xbox, and should be on store shelves now for a suggested retail price of $49.99. The title follows the exploits of Sydney Bristow, in a third-person action adventure title reminiscent of Ubisoft's Splinter Cell. Hopefully we'll have a review soon. (NASDAQ.SC: AKLM) and Buena Vista Interactive, today announced that they have shipped Alias for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system and the Xbox® video game system from Microsoft. Based on ABC’s hit television series, Alias is a third-person action adventure that allows players to step into the role of the series’ lead character, Sydney Bristow (played by Jennifer Garner), an agent for the CIA. “Alias” was created by J.J. Abrams, who executive produces the series along with John Eisendrath, Ken Olin, Alex Kurtzman-Counter and Roberto Orci. The ABC series, which is filmed in Los Angeles and premiered on September 30, 2001, is from Touchstone Television. Alias is currently available for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system and the Xbox® video game system from Microsoft, each at suggested retail prices of $49.99.
